🇮🇹 The vineyard of Sassara is located in the small village of Valeggio sul Mincio and exactly in the morainic hill called Monte Mamaor with an altitude of 200 meters. The actual vineyard was planted 50 years ago but in Sassara they are winegrowers in three generations.
Nowadays Stefano and Alessia run this natural project and from the 2007 they converted their property in biodynamic method of cultivation. They grow up traditional grapes variety of the place: Garganega, Trebbianello, Tocai, Moscato, Fernanda, Trebbiano for the white grapes and Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and Rossanella for the red ones.
This wine is ethereal and fresh, made in the “Ripasso” style, with the fermenting juice passed over the skins from a different wine. Crunchy, zesty and mineral with notes of blackberry and thyme.
