Collection: IL FARNETO

Marco Bertoni, the owner of the estate, has had a strong yearning for winemaking since he was a child. 8 hectares of abandoned land were acquired in 2000 and viticulture began. Marco, who dislikes modern, efficiency-oriented agriculture, pursues a recycling-oriented cultivation, respecting the natural environment, while adopting biodynamic agriculture, focusing mainly on manual labor. He does not use any pesticides or fertilizers (not even compost) in the vineyards, and has hardly used any Bordeaux solution since 2001, when he started working in the vineyards. He is surprised to learn that the vineyard has used no pesticides or fertilizers (no compost) and very little Bordeaux since 2001, when the vineyard was first planted. I want to preserve the landscape and the traditions rather than making a concentrated wine for nothing. He says. He seeks the existence of wines as table wines, and in other words, to go against the reality that even such a commonplace thing is disappearing. This is what motivates him.
